A boomer is a migrant railroad worker. We began meeting over 40 years ago at the Bedford Village Depot Hobby Shop. We've since evolved into a group of model railroad enthusiasts spanning all scales and aspects of the hobby. Some of us appear below.
We don’t have a permanent layout or meeting place, but we generally meet at the Bedford Village Library at 7:15pm on the fourth Tuesday of each month (except November and December). We frequently get together at a member's home either to assist in constructing their layout or to conduct an operating session. In addition, we often work on community projects such as the Lionel Layout of the Goffstown Historical Society. The “Timetable” page contains dates and times for meetings and events.
