- Pepperell Siding Model Railroad Club: Official homepage of the PSMRC
- Nashua Valley Railroad Association: Official homepage of the NVRR and The New England Rail System. Contains history, membership, and an overview of their site and activities. Updated often.

- Pennsylvania LEGO Users Group: Official homepage of PennLUG which is a group of Adult Fans of LEGO (AFOLs). Many members are active in the subgenre of model trains built from LEGO and the website contains much of interest to the subgenre, model railroaders and railfans.
Historical Societies & Preservation Projects
- Goffstown Historical Society: The historical society inherited a significant Lionel layout from a long time resident of Goffstown, NH. The Boomers have worked closely with the Society to maintain and improve the layout. The layout is open to the public on selected dates and some special events.
- The Flying Yankee Restoration Project: A website dedicated to the reconstruction of the famous B&M Streamliner.
- Sandy River and Rangeley Lakes Railroad began its non-profit history as a project of the Phillips Historical Society about 1970. In the 1980s we became independent. Then once again, in the early 1990s, we became a division of the Phillips Historical Society. Effective in August 2003, we are, once again, independent of our good friends at the Phillips Historical Society.

- Rockingham County Railfan: Ian MacMillan is a Boomer who has put his HO railroad on the web. This HO scale railroad is the free lanced Burlington Northern Wisconsin Subdivision based in LaCrosse, WI.

- National Model Railroading Association (NMRA): Is the largest organization devoted to the development, promotion, and enjoyment of the hobby of model railroading. The NMRA was founded in 1935 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in order to provide a service to the hobby of model railroading.
- NMRA Northeast Region: Is a part of the National Model Railroad Association that serves the northeastern United States including all of Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont as well as parts of New York, New Jersey. The NER also serves Canada in Quebec, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island.
- NMRA Seacoast Division: Serves NMRA members in New Hampshire and Maine. They are the local arm of the NMRA. Features are quarterly meetings and member nights.
